All Jotul gas stoves deliver heat to you home in two ways: radiant and convection air. Radiant heat is given off through the large front glass panel and off of the cast iron plates of the stove itself. Convection heat is producted by the air that is heated as it flows around the firebox and over the cast iron Jotul Heat Fins at the top of the firebox, before passing through the wxpansive latticework of the top plate. An optional blower can be added to the convection process.
